- “Record heat” — those were the words uttered by my local weather guy as he gave the forecast for the holiday weekend. They’re predicting 81 degrees for Monday – this is suppose to be fall race weather?!? We had a frost advisory this morning and now record heat! C’mon Mother Nature!

The Chicago Marathon just issued a “yellow” advisory. Which means it is going to be a bit warm. (80 by noon). Uhhh…was so hoping for a nice fall day. Good luck on Monday and have tons of fun!
Ugh, tough weekend for racing for sure! You’ve got a hot day for Tufts, my friend Meaghan’s looking at a hot Sunday for Chicago…. I’ve got a long run for Sunday, but have flexibility to start VERY early (now let’s see if I get up early!).
Tufts is an amazing race, so even if the weather is indeed too warm for anything fast, I wish you a great day surrounded by great running women 🙂
