Time for October Coffee

It’s the first Friday of the month which means it’s time for a little coffee catch up. So for this week’s Fit Five Friday, I’m joining Coco and Deborah for the Ultimate Coffee Date. Grab a mug of your fave hot beverage and let’s chat!

Time for October Coffee

Over coffee, I’d share how excited I am to have started coaching a team for Girls on the Run! I recently completed my coaching certification and we kicked off our season this past Monday! I definitely forgot how much energy 8 and 9 year-olds can have LOL. They are a great group and I think we’re going to have a lot of fun this fall 🙂

Over coffee, I’d ask you what you’re reading – I just started Verity by Colleen Hoover and cannot put it down! I love a good psychological thriller!

Lastly, over coffee, I would share that my hubs and I just booked our flights for a trip to Sonoma next month. It’s been a couple of years since we were last in wine country and I’m so looking forward to going back.

What would you tell me over coffee?

  1. Oh, wow on being a GOTR coach! That’s fantastic.

I’ll have to check out Verity!

  2. Deborah Brooks says

I coached GOTR for 8 years and loved it! they are lucky to have you. Have fun! I keep seeing the movie trailer for verity so maybe I should read it first!

  3. Congrats on the coaching cert. and yay for GOTR! I coached them a while back and it was so much fun. I read Verity a few years ago and thought it was poorly written, although the story is definitely a page turner and I usually enjoy Colleen Hoover’s work. I just finished Sadie on a Plate by Amanda Elliot. Have a great time in Wine Country!

    • Thanks Marcia 🙂 And yes not Colleen Hoover’s best work but it’s a good page-turner. I haven’t heard of Sadie on a Plate – any good? My TBR list is so long but I’m trying to make more time for reading this fall.

  4. So fun to be a GOTR coach!

I read Verity last year and am going to see the movie with book club friends this weekend. I think Anne Hathaway is great casting.

I haven’t been to Sonoma in ages. Love the fall there, too! Have fun!

  5. Congrats on GOTR!! Have fun with that- I remmeber looking into that program and how to get involved before I had kids. Then I had kids and … forgot?
I read Verity a while ago and am thinking of seeing it with a few of my book club ladies!
