Weekly Wrap – February Rewind

Happy Leap Day! (Is that a thing?)

The days continue to fly by at an alarming rate, and we’re already at the end of another month. So it’s time once again to do a quick wrap-up the month and see what March has in store.

Good things for the month:

  • Really enjoyed Mar’s 14-day Self Care Challenge (you can read more about it here).
  • T25 – Have enjoyed mixing up my workouts, though as I run-fessed, the double workout days are proving to be a bit much
  • Met my goal of increasing my mileage over January
  • More outdoor runs vs. treadmill — Gotta love seeing 50+ degrees in February!
  • Another massage was had – always a good thing!
Things I could do without:
  • The events of this month left me feeling stressed and distracted
On the decks for March:
  • Start training for Boston’s Run to Remember half
  • Returning to yoga classes – at least I’m hoping to try to fit this in. There’s a studio near me that I’ve been wanting to check out.
  • Fingers-crossed the weather continues to cooperate and I’ll not see a treadmill again for a while 🙂

  1. You had a good month! But yes, wow it flew. A few springlike days felt awesome but I’m afraid I’ll be on the mill tomorrow as a winter weather advisory starts tonight. Ugh.

  2. I’m with you. I’ve run on the ‘mill once or twice this whole winter..and that is really fine by me. We’re supposed to get snow tonight, tho..

  3. Well, even in a leap year, February is still the shortest month! Sounds like March will be good! Will lax get in high gear too?

  5. Sounds like a good month, though sorry about the extra stress 🙁 It seems to influence everything else when one thing is stressful. Good luck with March! I’m with you on the weather. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that RnR weekend is nice 🙂

  6. Sounds like a great month! T25 double days are tough! I remember when I actually followed the schedule those days were always hard. Way to reach your goal for increasing more mileage over January! I’m hoping the weather cooperates for you in March!

  7. I love that it is getting lighter and warmer so we can all run outside more.

  8. Ah I am enjoying the warmer running temps too! Have to get back to yoga this week as well.

  9. Yes..Leap Day is a thing-lol!!!

Congrats on you good things for the month!

Yeah yoga!!! I have a class that I go to on Friday mornings…..such bliss!! Enjoy!!

  10. I don’t think I could do the double workout days. If I have Physical Therapy on my running days, that is hard for me! It was a nippy upper 30s on my run this morning, but I think that will be last of the cool weather. Spring is here, as attested by my allergies! I hope you have warmer weather this week. Thanks for linking up with us Michelle.

  11. Spring is just around the corner, I saw the first flower pop up either Sunday or Monday so it was nice to see that! I’m glad February is over and done with, I think it is THE hardest months to stick with a routine, don’t you. I hope you get to check out the new studio near you. I’m jealous you have so many options. Thanks lady for linking!! Have a great rest of your week!!!
