I’ve now been running in this shoe, both on the track and on road for about 2 weeks now and there are just so many things I love about my new Nike Structure Triax+13 running shoes:
- felt good right out of the box which was not the case with my Triax+ 11 — that pair needed serious breaking in
- runs wide through the ball of the foot giving me the space I need without being too big and sloppy
- nice snug fit in the heal
- provides good support without skimping on the cushioning
- light and flexible
- comes in the sleek black/dark gray combo as well as the white and urgent orange (pictured here) and white with pink
I definitely needed to order up a 1/2 size — I have always found Nike to run smaller than other brands. The shoes are also Nike+ ready but I haven’t bought the sensor yet….still trying to decide if I want to take that on. (If any one’s had any experience with Nike+, I’d love to hear about it).
This is a great shoe and I’m looking forward to the miles I’m going to log in them!
