Time for a Couple of April Runfessions

And, here we are at the end of another month already! Marcia has opened the runfessional so for this week’s Fit Five Friday, I’ve got a couple of runfessions to share. Let’s dive in.

I runfess that I’m wondering who handed out my email address because I’m being inundated with product review and affiliate offers. I find it especially curious since I’ve dialed back my blogging and social posts since the start of the year. Go figure…

I runfess…or is it vacationfess (?) that I’m feeling stressed about trying to finalize our summer vacation plans. We’ve been talking about spending some time in Europe in August but potential fuel shortages and some airlines already talking about cutting flights is giving us pause. Yes, I know we can buy travel insurance, but I will admit that the thought of the possible logisitics hassles is giving me pause.

Do you your summer plans locked in? Any runfessions to share?

  1. We have summer vacay plans locked in as well as holiday travel in December. Now I’m so glad we do. We always get travel insurance because who even knows anymore!

    • I would have loved to have locked in our summer earlier but I was waiting on the boys to land their schedules. This is definitely going to be the year for travel insurance!

  2. Our summer plans are locked in, with a trip to Indiana in July. I know! We always pick exotic locations, lol. This time it’s for my son’s wedding, which is exciting. Don’t even talk to me about airline issues- I HAVE to get to that wedding!

  3. I blog regularly but no one wants me to review their products.

No real summer plans. Hopefully running and some boating on the weekends, gardening, relaxing, some hiking. Perhaps a trip to LI to visit my college roommate (only a maybe.) Perhaps a trip to NYC.

Yeah, driving or flying is risky with the state of the world and fuel prices.

    • The product review offers have been crazy – some fun stuff and some totally off the wall.

Yes sadly I think weather driving or flying travel is going to be a bit of a crap shoot this year.

  4. No specific summer plans on my end, other than a day of RAGBRAI (the big Iowa bike ride). I’ve got a lot of gardening & landscaping I’d like to”break ground” on.

  5. I don’t have summer vacay plans locked in but I’d be wary of Europe until we know what’s happening with this war. My friend in the UK said he may have to cancel the Stockholm Marathon in May b/c of flights. (Hoping that the conflict ends but I’m not super optimistic – grrrr.)

  6. We have our summer locked in but all our trips are in driving distance. The logistics for some of the longer flights absolutely gives me anxiety, so I get where you’re coming from!
