An August Runfession or Two

An August Runfession or Two

I runfess that recently I have fallen off the stretching bandwagon and my body has let me know in no uncertain terms that this is not acceptable! I will be getting back to these stretches pronto!

And, speaking of bandwagons, I runfess that I’ve let my core work slide this month. I usually try to at least get some daily planking in, but over the past few weeks… nothing. I’m thinking of doing one of Peloton’s core programs to help motivate me to re-engage.

    I am pretty good with stretching when I am home and in my routine. Alas, I have also fallen off hte stretching habit and I also plan to get back on it. let’s do it!

  2. My stretching “routine” has been anything but routine recent. Ugh! Core work is so boring for me, but planks are my jam. I’ve been doing the daily side plants, in addition to the usual forearm planks, since late June…and it’s been a great fit for me.

    I was great about those ankle stretches and then my ankle felt better and guess what, I am lax again.

  5. I’ve been pretty good about core work but stretching? Not so much. It’s time to get ore consistent with that for sure.

  6. I guess I’m the only one who’s been consistent with stretching but slacked off on core — at least I’m not doing it everyday anymore.

  7. Ugh.I’m terrible about stretching. I’ve let the whole gym thing go by the way side. No good! Hopefully I can get back to it soon!

  8. I’ve actually been doing a pretty good amount of stretching via Yoga with Adriene before strength training. Amazing how much it helps!
