Runfessions for July

How are we coming to the end of another month already?! It’s the last Friday of the month so of course for this week’s Fit Five Friday, I’m linking up with Marcia to share some Runfessions.

Runfessions for July

I runfess that the product review offers have been getting weirder and weirder lately – for example, I recently received an email pitching an offer to test out a testosterone supplement for men – say what now?!?

I runfess that my most challenging workouts of late may be walking Ryker! The pup is now 6 months old and 60 lbs and has seriously entered the pulling-on-the-leash phase. While I pride myself on being a solid power walker, I’m clearly not moving fast enough for the little guy LOL

  1. Awww not so little Ryker is so cute! ! can just imagine how strong he is though. I’ve been getting offers in other languages that I do not understand. It really is insane.

  2. I’ve really come to embrace walking and I bet it’s quite the challenge with a dog that size. I sometimes go along with friends that have dogs and they are a handful. I do also get some strange collab requests too!

  3. One of my clients is a 5 month old chocolate lab, and OMG. I am in a full sweat every time I leave her. She is WORK. Your pupper is so cute!

And yes… I dread those “Hey girly” messages and emails. Do you even look to see what I’m about?

  4. Ryker! He’ such a sweet “little” guy 😉 I have been getting a lot of strange requests for collabs as well. I’ve gotten a few for “new moms” ….umm, say WHAT?!?

  5. The “little” guy – LOL – I can’t keep up with the dog we care for unless I run (sometimes!)

Totally agree on strange pitches. That and the “I love your fitness content” and then they propose something for children/babies. Yup have none of those!

I agree. That is a weird request.

Strength training or dog walking? lol

  7. Oh, I am with you on the challenging walking companion! I have to pay attention so I see the squirels/cat/fox/deer before Scooby does so I can brace myself — and try to keep him calm!
