November’s Ultimate Coffee Date

The Ultimate Coffee Date

Temps in the 70’s?! Is it really November?!

It certainly hasn’t felt much like a typical start to November around here, but it’s been nice to have the windows open so I’m certainly not complaining!

It’s the first Saturday of the month’s and time to join in for Ultimate Coffee Date, hosted by Coco, Lynda and Deborah. Since it’s unseasonably warm, I think I’ll make mine an iced coffee this morning.

If we were having coffee together, I’d tell you that I’m practically pulling my hair out that I cannot run yet. I’ve got one more week to go before I see the doc for clearance – gonna be a l-o-n-g week!

If we were having coffee together, I’d tell you that on Monday I started the Chopra Center’s 21-day meditation experience. I’ve done a couple of these in the past. I’m especially loving this session –  the focus is around the power of your beliefs.

planner1If we were having coffee together, I’d tell you that I’m a bit of a planner fanatic. So I’d ask, is it crazy that I already have my 2016 planner? Or, that I’m ready to start adding things to it? There might even be a couple of races lightly penciled in 😉

If we were having coffee together, I’d tell you that my newest addiction are roasted pumpkin seeds.

Pumpkin seedsThere is way too much Halloween candy still lurking in my house and unfortunately all of my faves. These pumpkin seeds have been taking care of my snack cravings and keeping me away from the candy bowl – win!

So what would you tell me over coffee?  Do you still have Halloween candy in your house?

(Oh…I’d also say, don’t forget to my Heart Hemps Giveaway!)

  1. Hah! Pumpkin seeds are more dangerous to me than candy – love them. I hope this week flies by and you get the all-clear!

  2. I did not buy Halloween candy (I know, bah humbug). We live in a small neighborhood with mostly grown up kids (teenagers). So that helped minimize the cravings at home. But then my co-workers brought all their extras to work!! Eeek! I may have eaten some kits kats and twix bars this week.

  3. I didn’t buy Halloween candy! I thought we were going to be gone (we were at home!). I am not running right now either and it is making me crazy. I hope you get good news and can returning to running next week. I’m getting pretty close, I think. I haven’t made many plans at all because I’m waiting on my foot to heal. Once it does, that calendar is going to look very full.

    • I’m trying hard to resist the urge to “run all the races” – my biggest challenge is going to be easing back into running so I don’t get injured again. Fingers crossed we’re both back to running soon!

  4. Michelle, so frustrating when we can’t get out and run. We have no Halloween candy in this house, it is gone and I love dumping any left over. I just picked up my 2016 planner/calendar. I love getting it ready ahead of time. The Hemp Hearts are great, love them. Thank you for having coffee with us again, have a fabulous weekend 🙂

  9. I was traveling for Halloween and live on the top 2 floors of my house so don’t get trick or treaters. Thanks goodness because candy is dangerous. Though I’m a sucker for pumpkin seeds too!!

  10. I need to get a planner for 2016! I was hoping to find a good planner specifically for blogging, but I don’t want to pay a ton of money either!
