Hello 2026!
We have a fresh new year before us and I can’t think of a better way to start things off then with a little chat with friends! I’m kicking off the first Fit Five Friday of 2026 by joining Coco and Deborah for the Ultimate Coffee Date. So grab a mug and let’s chat.
New Year’s Coffee Chat
Over coffee, I would ask your about your holidays. Mine was very relaxed, full of lots of laughs, food, and family. My heart is full and it was a great way to wind down the roller coaster that was 2025.
Over coffee, I would tell you how excited I was to receive the email announcing that I am a Shokz Ambassador for 2026! I’m very glad your holidays were relaxing! That’s the way it should be. I ran around like a complete maniac leading up to Christmas, but then had a VERY relaxing Christmas and Boxing Day, and then another relaxing time over New Year’s, so I can’t complain

Great that you got some downtime after a hectic lead-up. I keep saying I want the days before CHristmas to be calm and it never quite turns out that way lol
Happy New Year Michele! I usually don’t do much over the holidays but this year Tina (@crantina) came to visit me! We had some fun in Amsterdam and then she spent 5 days with me here in Arnhem. We ate too much cheese, drank too much prosecco but also went on an epic (freezing cold) bike ride and went around the open air museum and checked out a few places around Apeldoorn, It was truly fabulous!

Our holidays were different than previous years (mostly dealing with aging issues of parents/step parents/in-laws) but we had a very nice time visiting friends and family in Las Vegas (my mom) and Los Angeles (Neal’s family and our friends). I will say, I have spent the last day in near silence to recover – lol.
