Christmas Week Run Down

This week was a blur and just like Christmas 2021 is in the books! Christmas Eve and Day were filled with food, family, and laughter and I am so ready to enjoy having the week ahead off from work.

As always, I’m linking up with Kim and Deborah for the Weekly Run Down – here’s a quick peek at the week that was.

Weekly Run Down – Week 51

Monday — Upper Body Strength, Core, Day 8 of the #12DaysofFitmas, & Stretch.

Tuesday — 3-mile run & Fitmas Day 9. The plan had been to enjoy the milder temps during an afternoon run. But, as they say, ish happens and this run didn’t happen until after dark. Thankful for having a treadmill as an option…though I still think ‘mill miles should count for double!

Wednesday — Fitmas Day 10, Peloton Bike, Core & Stretch.

Thursday –– 4-mile run, Fitmas Day 11 & Stretch.

Friday — Yoga & the final day of Fitmas.

Saturday — 4-mile run & Stretch. Icy rain had me back on the mill, but always so happy to move virtually with this wonderful group of women!

A huge thank you to Kim for this fun collage!

Sunday — 3-mile walk & TBD. My husband J and I got out for our usual Sunday walk and right now I’m all about lingering over my coffee. Some football and board games are definitely in the plans…whether there will be additional movement remains to be seen.

Tell me something about your week.

  2. Way to stay active on a hectic week. Hope you enjoying your time with the kiddos It is so hard to let them go back! We are all football over here today too!

  3. Awesome week Michelle! Today is a good day to take it easy and recover from all of the craziness of the week 🙂

  4. I think icy rain is the worst! Things were crazy here this week as well. Enjoy your time off!

  5. Well, the aide arriving & my mom actually liking her was the highlight of my week pretty much. Unfortunately she’s only there for 2 weeks (she doesn’t like the regular one as much, sigh).

Board games & hot beverages sound really good to me! I’m going make some hot chocolate real soon, we just got back from walking Bandit. it’s warm & cold at the same time!

  6. Way to stay active despite the busy week! Glad you had a good time with the family. Kim did a great job with that collage! Happy holidays!

  7. I feel that letdown the day after Christmas–all that planning and prep and like you said, POOF…

I did get my run in this morning and now I’m chilling on the sofa. I’m exhausted!

  8. Great job of getting it all done in such a busy week! Hope you’re enjoying time off with your family. It’s nice having everyone together again, right?

  9. Isn’t it crazy how fast Christmas really comes and goes, though we spend so much time prepping for it? I’m actually looking forward to our long drive, tomorrow morning, just so I can sleep/snooze guilt-free (though my back will be less than thrilled, LOL). I hope you enjoy your time with your guys 😉

  10. Merry Christmas, Michelle!

My husband got caught in the rain walking Scooby last night. It seemed to come out of nowhere. The rest of our weekend weather was sunny and mild.

I hope you enjoy more time with your family even if you have to work this week.

  11. Hooray week off! It was lovely to participate in the Christmas Day virtual get-together and see my picture among us all – and to write my first running blog post for a long long time! I only had a little work last week and nothing on Christmas Eve but was working today as there are no replacement bank holidays in Finland, where several of my clients live. Still fitted in a Zoom with my cousin and a run today, though. Happy Christmas!

  12. Football and board games is the perfect kind of Sunday despite my team being utter trash. We’ve recently fallen in love with Rummikub. Any recommendations?
